Full Membership is open to medically qualified professionals with an active interest in paediatric nephrology.

Eligibility

• Members may reside anywhere in the world.
• Applicants must be medically qualified and have an active interest in paediatric nephrology.
• Members of Regional and/or National Paediatric Nephrology Societies are eligible for AFPNA membership.
• Applications are submitted directly to AFPNA.

• Support the continued development of paediatric nephrology throughout Africa.
• Voting rights (subject to membership being in good standing).

Membership Fees

Annual membership dues are determined by the AFPNA Council.

Membership fees currently support:

• AFPNA website
• Scientific journal
• AFPNA newsletter

Failure to remain current with annual membership dues will result in the loss of membership and voting rights.

Associate Membership is available to medical doctors and nursing staff who contribute to the care of children with kidney and urologic diseases or specialise in the care of older individuals with kidney and urologic diseases.

Associate Members

• May participate in AFPNA activities.
• Pay annual membership dues as determined by the Council.
• Receive a subscription to the Journal.
• Are not eligible to vote.

Honorary Membership may be awarded to retired individuals who have made outstanding contributions to paediatric nephrology.

Honorary Members:

• Pay no annual membership fees.
• Are not eligible to vote.
• Are nominated for consideration by the AFPNA Council.
• Are appointed following approval by the Council.
